Qui suis-je ?
En faisant partie des expatriés chiliens, le destin a choisi de m’envoyer vers l’hexagone fin 2019 afin de casser le cycle monotone et vicieux dont la vie de mes prédécesseurs ont été exposées tout au long de leurs croissances.
Sans savoir dire aucun mot de la langue véhiculaire, je me suis rapidement fait entourer par l’oppressant brouhaha qu’on trouve dans les principales rues de la métropole lyonnaise, accompagné de l’odeur à café et la fumée de cigarette qui sortait des bars de la presqu’île.
Une fois que la barrière linguistique ne faisait plus partie des vraies contraintes auxquelles on peut être sujets tant qu’étranger, j’ai choisi un parcours étudiant dont les outils m’aident à donner une image à quoi que ce soit que j’aie en tête dans mes moments d’inspiration.
Being part of the Chilean expatriates, fate chose to send me to the hexagon at the end of 2019 in order to break the monotonous and vicious cycle that my predecessors’ lives were exposed to throughout their growths.
Without knowing how to speak a word of the lingua franca, I was quickly surrounded by the oppressive hubbub found in the main streets of Lyon’s metropolis, accompanied by the smell of coffee and cigarette smoke coming out of the bars of the peninsula.
Once the language barrier was no longer part of the real constraints that one can be subject to as a foreigner, I chose a student path whose tools help me to give an image to whatever I have in mind in my moments of inspiration.

Mené par les enjeux sociaux d’aujourd’hui, mi-septembre j’ai commencé à concevoir le squelette de ce qui serait mon futur poster-design; tout autour du concept de l’avortement et les nouvelles régulations (plutôt des interdictions) auxquelles celui-ci a été sujet aux Etats-Unis Juin 24 2022 suite à l’infirme du dossier Roe v. Wade, en supprimant les standards fédéraux d’accès à l’avortement et son droit constitutionnel établi depuis 1973.
Poussée par les mouvements légaux-conservateurs, cette décision est arrivée aux mains de la cour suprême américaine, dont la démographie politique des juges est fortement incliné vers le côté conservateur-religieux grâce aux efforts de la précédente administration présidentielle (période de Trump) en approuver et promouvoir des juges avec des idéologies de ce caractère.
« Le but de la droite a été de contrôler la cour, d’accomplir des acquisitions politiques contre le public américain « La Maison-Blanche affirme dans une déclaration, juste après l’infirme du dossier en question » Cette décision est exactement le type de livrable qu’ils avaient en tête lorsqu’ils ont rempli la cour avec des juges choisis par la société fédéraliste »
Ce poster a été conçu en 3 temps, soi-disant 3 éléments (1. Le Cadre / 2. La typographie / 3. Les juges et le peuple) d’approfondissement pour faire en sorte que ce soit quelque chose qui défie les limitations du digital avec le collage traditionnel. Tout en transmettant une critique sociale de la célèbre phrase « God save America »
Driven by today’s social issues, in mid-September I began to design the skeleton of what would be my future poster-design; all around the concept of abortion and the new regulations (rather bans) to which it has been subject in the United States following the reversal of the Roe v. Wade case, removing the federal standards of access to abortion and its constitutional right established since 1973.
Pushed by the legal-conservative movements, this decision came to the hands of the U.S. Supreme Court, whose political demographics of the judges is strongly tilted towards the conservative-religious side thanks to the efforts of the previous presidential administration (Trump’s period) in approving and promoting judges with ideologies of this character.
« The goal of the right wing has been to control the court, to accomplish political acquisitions against the American public » The White House says in a statement, just after the case in question was overturned « This decision is exactly the type of deliverable they had in mind when they filled the court with judges chosen by the federalist society »
This poster was designed in 3 stages, supposedly 3 elements (1. The Frame / 2. The Typography / 3. The Judges and the People) of depth to make it something that defies the limitations of digital with traditional collage. While conveying a social critique of the famous phrase « God save America »
